 In honor of the 250th celebration of America, the Winner American Legion, with support from the Winner Area Chamber of Commerce, will make available Veteran banners that will be hung on Main st Winner. There is a limited number that we can put up, so this will be on a first-come basis.  The Rosebud Arrow Rod & Gun Club is hosting a full weekend of shooting events on May 16th and 17th, offering a fun opportunity for both experienced shooters and anyone looking to enjoy some time at the range.

On Saturday, May 16th, the club will hold its Steel Shoot Out beginning at 9 AM. The event features seven stages, and participants can shoot all day or just part of the event. A $10 donation is requested, and shooters should bring their own pistol, around 250 rounds of ammunition, and a chair. The club emphasizes that the steel shoots are designed for fun, practice, and socializing in a relaxed atmosphere.

The weekend continues on Sunday, May 17th, with the Spring 16 Yard Trap Shoot starting at 1 PM. The event includes 100 rounds of shooting, with a $30 donation covering four boxes. Organizers note that if participants cannot arrive right at the start time, they can still join a later squad.

The club is promoting the weekend as “Two Great Days, One Great Club,” inviting everyone to come out, enjoy the events, and spend time with fellow shooting enthusiasts.

Auction items can be dropped off at Dan’s Last Shot in Colome and 31723 US HWY 18 in Winner (Mardi Pederson’s shop).
